The majority of our plays are performed in our very own acting space, The Salterton Playhouse. If you wish to get involved in any of the upcoming productions please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Most Sundays and Thursdays 10:00
The team are down at the Playhouse most weeks - if you can help with anything from carpentry to a bit of painting or holding a ladder, we will reward you with tea, biscuits and thanks.

The Great Millas Murder Mystery - Gala Week

The Salterton Drama Club has discovered a fascinating (and completely untrue) story of events surrounding the painting of The Boyhood of Raleigh. This year's Murder Mystery is based on this story.
It is the year 1870 and Salterton has some distinguished visitors. Sir John Everett Millais is staying at the Octagon painting a picture destined to become world famous. Mr Sherlock Holmes and his friend and chronicler Watson are taking a well earned holiday after solving and interesting case on Dartmoor.
They attend the Mayors annual dinner in aid of The Fishermen's Benevolent Society. The Mayors stands to give his welcoming address when a scream rings out....
You are invited to attend.....all are welcome, local fisherfolk, farmers,townspeople and gentry. Join us in the Public Hall for this fun packed event and help Holmes to solve the crime. The wearing of Victorian costume is encouraged......prizes for best costumed lady and gent. Tickets at £20 to include a delicious three course meal, licensed bar, themed .
